HCE HUGO, son of the famous canadian breeding bull, MAPLE LEA GRAND DUKE, a black bull from the well-known breeders Margeret & Don Badger, a farm called Maple Lea in Bolton, Canada. The livestock of the Maple Lea farm counts more than 300 cattles. The animals, and especially the bulls, are going through a very strict selection.

Maple Lea GRAND DUKE is a bull of exceptionnnaly calm spirit, with good feet that inxcrease the characteristics of temperament and of behaviour in the herd. This, by maintaining the traditional characteristics of the Highland shape!

HCE HUGO is the brother of  ZENITH’S JESTER, Champion Suprême of the Royal Easter in 1998, New Zealand.

The mother of Grand Duke, Mamuthli Wera, is the first dairy cow of the Maple Lea herd. She has an exceptionnal udder and she has been the first choice amongst more than  100 cows of the herd selected to produce embryos for New-Zealand.

Maple Lea GRAND DUKE has been evaluated in 1997 and became WINNER of this test among 47 bulls!

HCE Daniela, mother of  HCE HUGO, has been evaluated to 89,5 points out of 100, a “Very good”. She is the daughter of our forst bull ORKNEY v. SCALDI, a large and big bull who has brought us great productional results and who, himself, is a son of  ORKAN II v. EIFGENTAL, German Reserve CHAMPION in 2008.
