During our last visit of the beef cattle fair in ST. DONAT/Austria, we visited a familiar breeder Josef KRASNIK (JMK). Josef owns a breeding which might be small, but of very high quality. Among Josef’s animals, there are a few pearls of the Highland breed, such as LYNGGARDEN VIVI, the mother of our bull EHC UNITY; a cow well known across the austrian borders, YUCCA VOM RIESTER MOOR, mother of PANTHER II v. Aignerhof, an exceptional bull exported to the United Kingdom.  YUCCA is also the grand-mother of CHAMPION de RÉSERVE at the Championshiop of Germany in Alsfeld 2015 and the grand-grand-mother of the CHAMPION of Germany 2015 ! She is the basis of numerous animals highly awarded and at the age of 13, she is still active, which is why we had the opportunity to acquire her beautiful daughter JMK EILEEN whose father is BEINN DUBHCRAIG OF CLADICH, CHAMPION of the young bulls in OBAN !

Also, we have been able to convince Josef to sell us a second heifer, not less interesting than the first one, JMK YELLOW JACKET, a daughter of WINDLOUGH DUNDEE and EHC UNIQUE ! WINDLOUGH DUNDEE 1 D, CHAMPION SUPRÊME from Canada. The day of her biggest success at the ROYAL AGRICULTURAL WINTER FAIR 1996, her competitors in the ring were: the CHAMPION of the NEW YORK STATE FAIR 1996, the GRAND CHAMPION BULL of the MIDWEST SHOW (EU), the GRAND CHAMPION BULL of the NECA SHOW and the CHAMPION BULL from NORTH of AMERICA!!!

DUNDEE has become CHAMPION of CHAMPIONS !!!! The mother of DUNDEE is TRAFALGAR WHITNEY, she gave birth to three CHAMPION BULLS and carries in her blood the genes of a few of the most important lines of the Higland breed. EHC UNIQUE, the mother of JMK YELLOW JACKET, is a daughter of another canadian Champion, DU BOISE LE COQ, and sister of the triple VICE-CHAMPION of Austria, EHC CHATO. The grand-mother of JMK YELLOW JACKET, CAMARRO I V. KNAUSSERWALD, is an absolutely exceptional cow descending directly from the herd of the “father” of the HIGHLAND breed in Austria, DR. Otto SCHIMPF.
