We live in the lovely hilly north of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, in the idyllic little village Eschweiler, situated in the canton Wiltz. We are breeding Highland Cattle in this rural region since 2005. The breed currently consists of approximately 85 animals that are feeling very much at ease with our climate.
The animals spend the summer on the nearby grazing land, whereas they overwinter directly next to the house. There we have arranged a little stockyard for them. The bulls and oxen spend the winter separated from the cows and heifer.
